Studio Bohemia is run by Martin and Judita, a Czech duo working across New Zealand. The studio’s name pays tribute to their heritage — the Czech Republic, historically known as Bohemia.
Martin studied Political Science but soon felt called to explore beyond the academic world. His first big adventure was backpacking across New Zealand — a journey that quietly planted the seeds for his creative path. After returning to the Czech Republic, he couldn’t shake the pull to come back. Once in New Zealand again, he moved into cabinetmaking and design — work that deepened his love for materials, structure, and detail. Somewhere along the way, photography found him. What started as curiosity became a true passion — a way to capture the balance of light, form, and feeling. Today, Martin specialises in real estate, interior, and commercial photography, helping businesses and property professionals tell their stories through clean, cinematic visuals.
Judita first came to New Zealand as a backpacker too. When she later returned with Martin, it marked the beginning of her healing journey — one of coming home to herself, building confidence, and finding purpose. Through that process, she discovered how much she loves working with people and helping them feel comfortable in their own skin. Judita now brings that same energy into every project — guiding clients from the first conversation to the final delivery with warmth, presence, and care. On set, she helps people relax and feel natural in front of the camera. For those who prefer not to be photographed, she can step in as a model to keep the imagery cohesive and alive. Together, they blend creative vision with grounded presence — capturing the real essence of people, places, and stories in a way that feels both beautiful and true.
